Beginner & family friendly
Mill Creek Lake in the Red River Gorge is an easy, family friendly place for paddle board and kayak rentals, and it's on a the prettiest lake in Kentucky. It's the perfect place for kayaking in the Red River Gorge, and the fishing is great!
WHAT TO BRING. Well, bring the kids (3 + year old) and pets. A small cooler, bottled water, hats, sunscreen and fishing gear if that's your thing.........we will provide everything else.
BOOKING. It is not required to book in advance unless your group is 8 or more people. Smaller groups can always just walk-up, but best to call (859-300-1330) in advance to see if kayaks are available. However, booking in advance is encouraged as it reserves the kayaks you want, when you want them. We can usually accomodate small groups on a walk-up basis.
